Microwave it for half the time you normally would, and eat it at room temperature

Based on the look of the steak, it seems to be just bordering well done. So it was probably originally rare or something. Also reheating it in a pan makes it easier to not overcook then reheating in the microwave or oven

A steak expert to know that meat gets more brown if you cook it again so it was probably rare(er?) before they reheated it? No, that's just common fucking sense.
