What is that on the broccoli?

I was wondering the same thing. Interesting.

I love this subreddit. It so interesting to see how people eat and to ask why. It's like sociology, art, history, and food all combined.

Agreed! Not saying itโ€™s not good, just that Iโ€™d never thought of the combination. But! Mustard is one of my favorite ingredients, I use it in lots of things. The acid and spice might be amazing on broccoli.

HauntedGhostAtoms t1_j5n0qhw wrote

Acid is something I've been learning to incorporate and love in my cooking. I don't know what this tastes like. I don't know if it would be my thing. But maybe I will try a mustard vinaigrette or something?

scw1224 t1_j5ow5hk wrote

Great idea. I use Dijon mustard in my vinaigrette, but in a pinch, a little yellow mustard would probably work

Interesting. I've never seen anyone do that before. Is that something people do where you are from, or just a personal preference?
