We believe that most consumers want a streamlined experience that is quick and easy to use, similar to a games console, which is why it comes bundled with the excellent Pico Neo 3 Pro headset, with our software preinstalled. Although we are not trying to compete with a device that acts only as a peripheral (with the limitations that come with that approach), we will still have emulation software as well - so, the best of both worlds.

I'm curious what type of research you obtained to come to this conclusion.
I asked 38 vr friends (vr chat) a question:
"The Virtuix Omni treadmill doesn't work with your valve index or PCVR (steam); you pay more money for the treadmill + a new vr headset. Is it worth it?"
No, 38 times.
I also heard "why wouldn't you just get a Kat walk?" 4 times.
RemindMe! 1 year "Check Virtuix's Success"

Most consumers don't use PCVR. If you showed the difference between the two types of product and the experience (hardware setup, software and game configuration, social features, etc.), to a less focused group, I'm sure you would have got a different result. As I mentioned earlier though, there will be emulation software as well, which is a different proposition from the one you presented.
