City , one of the games I’ve beaten the most. You could argue Asylum has a better atmosphere and you could favor the story but City improves on the formula in every way. Its better than origins and While Knight is really good it’s just missing that thing that made City and Asylum special.

another vote for City.

Asylum. City and Knight are real good but because they went open world it became bloated with very copy paste content. Asylum had really lovely metroidvania design

I gotta go in release order. Asylum, City,Knight. They all work narratively together. Asylum really captured you being batman and the setting of Arkham Asylum is amazing. City builds on you being batman and has a great narrative with good boss fights. Knight, while I loved, has the weakest narrative, but it still builds on the previous two games. Having the joker around was great, but other aspects drag the game down some.

Asylum is the best, but I really liked all of them.

I’ve only played Knight and that was loads of fun IMO. The world seemed a little too big at first but was fun. I want to play City, IDK about Asylum yet. Maybe if the trilogy comes to switch I’ll buy because switch is my main console. (Don’t judge I like portability and convienence).

Origins. It had the best story imo, along with the best tone, music choices and voice actors. (Batman in origins is much more expressive than the other games)

I liked Origins, but it doesn’t have the best voice actors. Smith and Baker are fine and they do good work, but they aren’t Conroy and Hamill.
Sophia724 t1_jacbirv wrote
Batman here imo did better than Conroy in the Arkham Hamilton. (Not better than Conroy in Batman TAS) but nothing beats Hamil.

I liked Knight more than City. I do agree that Asylum had the best narrative and the small environment prevented it from ever feeling like they did too much copy/paste, so it’s probably my favorite one.

I love all three. I don't really know if I can pick between Asylum and City. Both are too awesome. I've been considering replaying them, and I think this is the sign to do it.

Asylum. For Knight, I disliked the Batmobile so much that I stopped playing that game.

City is the only rocksteady arkham game that the batmobile wasn't in

Asylum.
City is good, but the general atmosphere of Asylum is creepier and the less open world lends itself to a better story.
