If you like mining games or hoard defence games I highly recommend Deep Rock Galactic. They have a reddit very active reddit page too. Would link it but idk how. Space dwarves mining on a hostile planet fighting big ol' bugs.

I've been playing a lot of Brotato. Something about it just hits the addiction center of my brain and it's not a big game by any means.

Doom, wolfenstien, hexen, and heteric. Classics that run under either dosbox or windoom software which all those games are abandonware and free.

Recently started playing Nightmare Reaper at just under 4GB. It's supposedly 80 levels, survival mode, and some little Minigames used as a skill tree. Also has old DOOM/DukeNukem graphics.

I’ve been obsessed recently with This War of Mine. The game doesn’t seem all that demanding from a technical standpoint, so if you can play it, I would highly recommend it

You could try Fallout Shelter, which is free. I play that occasionally when I have nothing better to do. You could also check out The Sexy Brutale. In my opinion, I think the story in that game is absolutely incredible

Rimworld. You don't need anything fancy and does not take up a lot of space

Portal 1, Portal 2, and Stardew Valley would be my go to games in that situation. Maybe dark souls remastered if you're looking for a challenge, not sure how well that would run on a low end system but to be fair the original was 30fps locked so if you can reach that then it's definitely playable.
