The east coast didn't get any snow this winter. In fact its been 80* as far north as Virginia this week. Charlotte and Raleigh broke their all time February records dating back to the 1800s.

No measurable snow in Central Park yet this winter. We may get a small chance in the next few weeks but that’s it. It looks likely to be the first winter without measurable snow on the ground.

Morons on both sides of the debate come out of the woodwork anytime there’s strange weather event.

Those that treat every single instance of “out of the norm” weather as an example or symptom of climate change, and those that don’t see climate change at all.

Sometimes we should just be able to appreciate these weather events, and not use it purely to feed your confirmation bias/prove that you’re right.

In 1977 Miami saw a snowstorm. People back then: “wow this is cool.”

People if it happened today: “omg this is just terrible 😱”.

That is one of my favorite views on the planet. Seeing the city, bay, and bridges on one side, surrounded by mountains, and then the Pacific ocean and coastline on the other, is a truly captivating experience.
