Surprisingly the cable that came with my HE-4XX'S has lasted longer than the glue holding the can on the headband. I for sure thought the cable would be done within a few months, maybe because I thought that I subconsciously took better care for it. All I know is that as soon as I bought a 2.5mm balanced cable for them the god damn glue let go 😅

It's a very short, pure plastic covered type cable. There's literally nothing to like about it.

What makes their cable bad?
What makes a cable in general bad? Other than being microphonic... (Believe that's the term, you touch the cable and can hear the sound in the headphones. Makes me want to use the cable to strangle someone)
