It’s on your face.

Seriously though, you should be able to rotate the pad to adjust for where the thinner part presents.

Um akshually they're on my head 🤓 haha

I was under the impression audeze pads only go on one way right? Cause the incline or whatever.

Had these since May of '22 and as you can see the right side pad is so compressed compared to the left... I can feel it tight around my ear too...

Pads on my LCD-X also compressed unevenly. And my DT770. Don't know if it's something with the pads or a consequence of fit/how I'm wearing them.

Normally I'd recommend rotating them but that's not an easy job on Audeze due to it being glued.

Dang sorry to hear. My 660S and DT990 never showed signs of squishing like these XC are now.

My hd650 pads are also compressed unevenly which makes its compression force to be unequal .

I had this issue but not as bad. Contact Audeze support and they can send you an extra pair.

Sucks to hear that this is apparently a recurring issue with them. Yeah, I sent an email to them. Thanks.

For what it's worth, my LCD-X have been perfect coming on two years. But the LCD-XC did have a slight issue. Honestly, I still haven't swapped out the pads almost a year after noticing the issue because it has been more of a cosmetic issue than anything else.

LCD-2C owner here, same issue less than a year after purchase. Let me know if contacting Audeze yields any results, as I was intending to just buy a new pair of pads, but if they can help out, I'd rather go that route (originals pads ain't cheap).

I did receive a response really quick and was told that I can send them the pair to be inspected and have the defective pads replaced. I guess if you can live without your headphones for a bit it's worth it.

I'm from Eastern Europe, so I think the shipping costs to the US + wait time wouldn't be worth it. New pads it is, I guess. :(

Sorry. It really sucks to see these expensive headphones have such shotty pads. I know the pads here are about $90... Insane.
