Someone on Head-Fi has them in for review, so I'm assuming they'll be properly released soon.

DCA tends to have good QC. The only thing is that their pads will deform. It's not a huge deal and shouldn't affect the sound, but it is annoying.

Are you referring to the $1,500 a month patreon tier that he explicitly says is a joke tier?

For what it's worth, my LCD-X have been perfect coming on two years. But the LCD-XC did have a slight issue. Honestly, I still haven't swapped out the pads almost a year after noticing the issue because it has been more of a cosmetic issue than anything else.

I had this issue but not as bad. Contact Audeze support and they can send you an extra pair.

You can look for a second hand Auteur OG.

Dunu insists they won't be making more. Normally I wouldn't believe it but we have yet to see more Vernus models made and those sold out in minutes.

Focal Clear, perhaps? I don't know what volume you listen at, but I've had my Clears for nearly two years now and I never have this issue.
I have three Focals and none of them have this issue, actually.

The Q&A mentions that they are omitting the 2.5mm plug and that it will allow them to reduce the price. Not sure if it's lower than the SA6 ultra or the SA6 OG, but it does mean it should be less than $600.
