That sounds like a job for the Meze 99 Classics, Your first description in title fits it like a glove.

Costs about 300 bucks. There's also options for balanced and unbalanced upgrade cables from Meze, going from 100-250 bucks.

I own these myself, always an easy listen!

Can't go wrong with the classics or any of the other Meze offerings!

I think the ZMF Atticus may fit your criteria, especially the exaggerated mid bass.

I guess, it won't hurt to try a chi-fi IEM. My daily driver rn are KZ ESX. Dirt-cheap, non-fatiguing, a bit bassy around 200 - 300 Hz and down. Pretty decent overall.

to mwe the lcd-2 sounded way better than the X bass wise. im using an ifi gryphon with just xbass (no xspace) and the switch on bass and presence which was lovely. the only ting ive found i prefer is some of the higher end meze isodynamics

This post has been removed. Please note the following rule:

>Rule 2: Ask purchase help questions in the Shopping and Setup Help Desk found at https://reddit.com/r/headphones/about/sticky > >Requests for product opinions, comparisons, and general purchase advice must be made in the dedicated Shopping and Setup Help Desk found at /r/headphones/about/sticky instead of a new post.

You may also use r/headphoneadvice but please search their resources and familiarize yourself with their rules first before posting.

What questions are considered purchase advice?

  • A request for product suggestions, comparison requests, or opinion requests fall under the purchase advice rule. These can often be found by searching first.

  • Any suggestion or comparison request pertaining to headphones, IEMs, DACs, amps, or other accessories should be directed to the purchase help thread or r/headphoneadvice.

  • Asking the subreddit to help make a decision to buy a product does fall under this rule (e.g. "should I get dekoni pads for my HD650?").

Why does this rule even exist?

What if the link doesn't work?

  • The post can usually be found on the top r/headphones, and titled Shopping, Setup, and Technical Help Desk.

650/6XX sounds like the recc. Maybe not nearly as much mid bass as something like a Meze; but it will completely thrash and destroy it in all other metrics. The 99 Classics are absolute trash.
