Hey Siri where are you?

When I lose my phone in my room I say hey siri where are you. Usually it responds back (when I can see the phone) but when I can’t find my phone it just stays silent. It’s like it knows I can’t find it and it wants to fuck with me?

Lmao same thing with me. I guess it doesn’t respond when it’s face down or perhaps covered proximity sensor

I just took a look in settings, and I swear it used to be there but it's not anymore. There used to be a setting for "always listen for Hey Siri" which included when the phone was in your pocket or face down, at least on my 11. I can't find it on my 13.

It does. I put it in the same place it ignore me in, with same shit covering it but I know its there this time and it responds I swear its fucking with me

As another reply suggested, change Siri in settings to listen while covered.
