If you type “.xom” or “.vom” by mistake. For example, “wired.xom” or “wired.vom”, it autocorrects to “wired.com”. Such a useful thing since these are the 2 buttons that you usually press by mistake instead of “c”. Checked with other keys. Doesn’t work.

That's exactly what I'm saying. When you close the browser, safari will reopen private tabs from before, when you open it again. So if you are doing "research" it'll reopen those research private tabs.

On a non-apple phone, if you click onto a search address bar a dedicated .com button pops right up next to the space bar. The more phone companies copy eachother, the better it is for all consumers.
