I think the base iPhone 14 is a royal waste of money. It has a severe lack of features and costs a mind blowing £849. The Pro is the only one worth having.

I know I'll be downvoted to shit for this, but if you don't want to spend £1k+, stick to android devices like the S23 (launches tomorrow), Pixel 7 Pro etc. because they give you a lot more for the money. Imo Apple only gets competitive once you hit the actual flagships.

Absolutely. It's actually one of the main features I was looking forward to when I got this phone. My S10+ was 60hz and whenever I used my mum's or mate's S20 with 120hz, I'd be left feeling like I'm lacking on my S10+. I love the 120hz.

They're the most scratch resistant, not durable. The more scratch resistant (hard) something is, the easier it will be to crack (more brittle).

You've got to remember that this is shipments, not sales. Both Apple and Samsung will ramp up production prior to and during a phone launch event. Shipments will drop off over the year as demand also drops off. I think sales and shipments will be similar.

I think you can transfer WhatsApp data using the ios move app. I also moved from an Android, but the projected time for the transfer was terrible, and my messages didn't matter that much to me.

It's very easy to tell what people care about, considering the 6.1 and 6.7 inch iPhones sell far better than the 5.4 and 4.7 ones do. Same story with Samsung and every other brand. People like big screens.

I don't personally think it's worth it. I've not as yet broken a phone. If I break this one, I'll either repair it or buy a new one (if this were to happen 2 years down the line). The amount I have saved not paying for Applecare/Samsung care over the years pretty much matches the value of my phone.

Any reputable brand. Spigen, Jetech, Mous, Otterbox etc. I personally use Ocase. The one on my S10+ lasted the entire 3 years I owned the phone, though it did start to fall apart in its last few months.

I second this. I don't need 4k, the difference can't be viewed on my phone, but 60fps very much can be. 1080p vastly reduces the file size.
