I would almost wager that some of these people have seen a video or tictok about how to change their privacy setting (or stop being tracked) and changed/updated them without realising that it will affect services like this?… maybe…

Nope. I haven’t changed any settings on my phone that would affect this. It went from reliable to annoyingly stupid for no known reason.
