Unless you can get a crazy deal on one or be able to find one your better off waiting at this point. Won’t be a big upgrade for most people.

Prores video and 48mpx raw pictures will be transfered like x500 times faster if they implement the 3.0 protocol, and you’ll be able to buy any usb-c and apple wont be able to block it of they stop paying any royalty (this at least was an issue with early lightning cables, which will not work after some updates).
The iPhone will become user friendly.

I see someone has downvoted my post. I do hope this isn’t a sub full of haters and trolls. I’d hoped I could come here for questions about my r/iPhone without all the noise and people just being unpleasant. I’ll give you guys a try. So far I’ve had sone really positive comments. It's a pretty minor upgrade in my opinion, as iPhones sometimes are from one gen to another. The 13 Pro might be my next phone next year when they get a bit cheaper in the used market.

The only reason I traded my 13 Pro for the 14 Pro was because it was a free upgrade from T-Mobile. You’re not getting that much more going to the 14 Pro Max. I’d wait.
