Ive been looking online and cannot find an answer. I know they're run by NJ transit but shimmick construction/21st rail seem to do the hiring. If thats your job title or you know someone who is, i'm curious to know because I saw them hiring. Thanks.

And many of them get OT. Good job to have if you get hired. Same goes for NJT commuter rails, some conductors can earn $200K after some time.

Just an FYI, the operation of the light rail was contracted out under a "design build operate" contract that is expiring. NJ Transit is in the process of scoping out a new operating agreement and will be looking to go to bid for new a contract.

What that means for getting hired, long term employment, is anyone's guess.
