It’s also the city. The mayor has passed backdoor taxes and the city also raised its taxes quite dramatically. I think it’s disingenuous to just blame the tax hike on the the schools.

If they just increase it 25 dollars at a time like the art tax, then landlords won't pass it on to the renters
