I'll be in staying in Journal Square for a few days and am looking for a few recommendations for dinner. I won't have a vehicle so anything within walking distance would be ideal. Thanks!

Go to corner of Newark and Kennedy. Options galore in little India.
If you like Indian and other similar cuisines, Little India on Newark, west of Kennedy, has a bunch of fantastic spots.
You now have me thinking about the biryani at Rasoi.
If you want something more American, Emma's has good food but to be fair, it often closes early if it doesn't have a crowd.
Thanks! I might check them out
Definitely gonna go up there
Looks like I'll be eating Indian and similar cuisines then
Boulevard Drinks.
Looks good, I'll go there one night to break up the Indian food, haha
white castle and a twelve pack.
This is the correct answer. Newark Ave between Tonnelle and Summit. The whole 2 blocks is the best eating around.
only if the 12 pack is Stella Artois
Emma's is decent. First time I ate there it was really good. However, last time, the fried chicken sandwich tasted like nothing.
Freetown Road is excellent. Kind of pricey but very good. Wish the portions were bigger.
Korai Kitchen was good.
Rasoi in Little India.
ITA on Bergen Ave is excellent.
15 Fox Place for a special night out.
Tacqueria Mi Mariachi is good. Very authentic.
Mezcal is also very good. Haven't been or ordered from in a while though.
Best hot dogs in the region - get the chili dog
Great list
Besides the list from _homegrown if you want to try some New Orleans / Cajun food check out Krewe of McGinley Square - they are open Thu-Sun for dinner: https://www.krewe-restaurant.com/
Went for the first time on Friday and can’t wait to go back!
Damn that menu has my mouth watering. Thanks for the link.

Morgans. Service kinda sucks, food makes up for it. Little pricey, but not nuts
