Yeah, especially that white roof. They should be able to narrow down the list of suspects pretty quickly

I'm sure when they find them the police will contact them and ask them to self report the accident so they can avoid a felony charge.

Are they trying to find the driver to not charge them with anything? Or is that only if you are a councilwoman?

ETA: Wow I knew the guy who responded to me was angry but I didn't expect him to off himself. lol

They found the car. And The councilwoman was given a ticket and will appear in court. So maybe do some research before you run your mouth!

Man, 36, in critical condition after NJ hit-and-run crash, driver sought
JERSEY CITY, N.J. (1010 WINS) — New Jersey police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a vehicle responsible for a hit-and-run crash that left a man in critical condition on Tuesday.
The 36-year-old victim was struck while crossing Griffith Street and Sherman Avenue in Jersey City around 4:35 p.m., authorities said.
 
Emergency responders transported the man to Jersey City Medical Center in critical condition.
 
The driver fled the scene and was last spotted on Palisade Avenue in the area  of South Street. The vehicle is described as a compact SUV with a white roof.
