Package thief in my building.

I recently moved to a 6 unit apartment building and its only been 3 months and I already have one of the tenants stealing my packages. It already happened 2-3 times and so I asked for the CCTV footage of when my package had arrived. Thankfully, the super was able to provide to me a footage of the woman who took it. The footage is like a “How-To” video on Youtube because of how good the footage we got of the thief. I spoke to management regarding this issue and the response I got were “We will get your package back”, “The tenant claimed it was her package and she also said YOU been stealing their package too”. These responses are obviously frustrating from management therefore I filed a police report via telephone. I havent provided them the footage of this girl taking my things. I guess my question here is can I get this person arrested? Kicked out of the building? Or if not can I break my lease because of the situation of management doesnt do anything about it? Any insight on this would be so helpful. Thanks in advance!

if its through postal mail then get mail cops involved. they take it more serious. But also look into the anti porch pirate laws they were talking about. this would classify as that as well i would think.

Sounds like the building knows this i s happening and is allowing it. maybe talk to a rental lawyer. some do free consultations through phone email.

100% call the police, no question about it.

Call them daily until she gets arrested. Make it a pain in their ass to ignore you.

I know theres a certain amount rule for it to be considered a felony. I think if its like under $50 its just a misdemeanor but regardless I did file the police report and mentioned that I did get the CCTV footage for one of the days the package was taken.
