I am also a RVRB user! Love this site, I think it was a new version of JQBX or a re-brand or something but this is a great app.

me as a musician, how could I use the app to share my music?

Sure! If your music is on Spotify you can add it to your queue and play it here. Some rooms have their own rules about self-promotion but its not disallowed! We love to hear new music.

You could join a room, introduce yourself and play some of your music. As long as you aren’t spammy with it, people won’t mind. It really isn’t designed to promote yourself though.

As a fellow Spotify junkie, I appreciate this.

Looks cool! Is this desktop only or is there a mobile app?

It was gone but came back recently! They use YouTube so they have songs that Spotify has lost. Thats what’s driving me away now. I’m often in the 70s room there trying to liven things up. Great to have an option for Spotify users but tt.fm is still so far subscription free - they just request donations to certain charities sometimes and that’s it!

Majority of the community are old-JQBX users, the app itself has been made BY the JQBX community. Myself included. JQBX got sold a while ago so we made a new home with the things we loved from JQBX and things that JQ didn't have that we wanted!

Any way to use this with my Google speaker/assistant?

Play from a browser on a desktop that has Spotify installed. From the Spotify app you can then choose whatever output device you want.

I left it playing on the browser and went for a drive. Spotify on my phone was still syncing with it so I could listen in my car! So cool!
