River's Edge is incredible. Essential roles for Crispin Glover and Dennis Hopper as well. Blue Velvet, but based on a true crime. Saw it twice in the local arty theater, when they were a thing.

Keanu is over rated. He plays the same god damn character in the every movie. Plus I don’t see sweet November there his only good movie.

Yeah, he has two similar big franchises: a tight and compelling first movie followed by increasing convoluted sequels, with long fight scenes, industrial raves and nonsense dialogue about some dude called 'The Counselor' or 'The Merchant'.

Neither franchise asks him to act that much. Just growl a word or two, look confused and then fight.
