  1. Never using objective correctly. Sometimes they will even admit that they know movies are subjective then still trying to have an “objective” conversation.

  2. Complaining about any long-delayed sequel or remake. The bingo space would say “who asked for this?” even though most movies are not requested by viewers.

There’s also the fact that critics have to watch everything, so they’ll praise what they like. I don’t think I know a single person who subscribes to Peacock, so anecdotal evidence like buzz is pretty irrelevant when something is only available on a minor platform.

I love 1-2, 3-10 are pretty good, I’m iffy on 11-12, dislike 13-14, and I hate Alice in Wonderland. It hurts my eyes.

He’s certainly one of the most prolific directors of his era. I’m always interested to check out his movies, but they rarely blow me away. I like his style, but sometimes the scripts aren’t at the same level.
