Godzilla King of the Monsters. I expected it to be much worse and came in all but determined to hate it, since I wasn't fond of the 2014 movie. By the end, all the Godzilla universe fanservice had me won over. It ain't perfect, but it was clearly a labor of love and felt like a big budget version of the monster showdown films. It was the movie I wanted from the 2014 film.

I liked both Godzilla films. The Godzilla 2014 had a stronger story but lacked in the big monster fights. Which I didn't mind cause it made for some cool shots.

King of The Monsters on the other hand definitely had a weaker story. But goddamn were those monster fights amazing and visually stunning. Having KG emerge from the ice was a cool intro. Then burning Godzilla is a sight to behold.
