Aftersun was my #1 movie of the year. I am glad the streaming price dropped radically late last week since I need to watch it again.

Dang, wish I’d known that. Rented it just before. What did you like about Aftersun so much? Everyone seems to love it. I guess it could dethrone Everything Everywhere as #1 for me.

The whole idea of a director making a partially autobiographical movie about a vacation with her father and using it to try to explore the mental problems which lead to his suicide five years later was fascinating to me. The movie accomplished its goal in a masterful way.
