but it doesn't mean you have to execute it in such a familiar way. the plot and how they deliver it can be altered to make it more unique. even the VFX showing off Dr. Fate's powers could be executed in a way to better differentiate it from Dr. Strange.

Marvel and DC have always had similar and competing characters.

It’s similar on purpose.
