Ethnic food is where Manchester excels, imo.
Indian/Pakistani/Nepalese:
- Annapurna Curry and Sekuwa House
- Classic Biryani Kebab and Curry
- Kathmandu Spice
- Taj India
Southeast Asian
- Golden Bowl
Mexican:
- Consuelos
- El Rincon Zacatecano
- Taqueria and Pastelitos
Other Latin American:
- Antojitos Colombianos
- Dulce's Bakery
There's also a bunch of other Chinese, Thai, Middle Eastern, and Mexican joints worth your time that I didn't list because I'm too lazy.

If you’re in Manchester, I’d recommend The Gyro Spot. I’ve ordered their stuff a few times and they’re a good change from more normal American food.

The chicken kabobs at Vlassic Biyani is the best dish in Manchester. The rest of their food ranges from meh to very good, but that chicken kabob is on another level. Side note: mimosas are vastly superior to egg rolls.
argentxmoon t1_iv2rt5n wrote
I second Dai Kun Thai! The food is very good, especially if you like it spicy. Levels 1-5, doubling in spiciness every time according to them.

From what I've had, yes, better, but I haven't been to crazy many times. The people at bangkok thai are super friendly, I've been going there roughly monthly for years. My go-to's are the curry puffs (excellent flaky pastry); and either the pineapple fried rice with veggies or the basil fried rice with veggies; and of course the thai iced tea. The chicken satay is great too.

I absolutely adore consuelos tacqueria. Definitely try their tortilla soup. Right by the courthouse, next to the sex shop & tattoo parlor.

Miscelanneous: Al Basha Mediterranean, Gumaa’s Bar and Grill (African), Kennedy Fried Chicken, Gyro Spot, USA Chicken and Biscuit, Poke Spot, Zem Zem
I keep a list in my notes, pretty similar to yours. Glad to see someone else appreciates the ethnic food scene in Manch as much as I do!

Cafe MoMo is my personal favorite. Located on the outskirts of Manchester this restaurant serves up Nepalese and Bhutanese cuisine. Prior to going I’ve never had either types of food but now can honestly say they are two of my favorite types. Go Check It Out!

Dude, I came here to make this suggestion. Don't let the exterior fool you, we went there for a nicish dinner (not expecting much) and ordered too much food and it was delicious! (The weird Nepalese music videos playing on the TVs that all take place in beautiful fields was a little distracting at first).

Thanks and I have been there with one of my sons on occasion. It's nice, I don't knock it. Moritomo's is a bit more upscale and I have 4 lunch specials I particularly enjoy. #4 Bento box on the lunch special is a bargain. My son and i do it every Monday, his day off, and I'm never disappointed. The owners, Tom and Charlene, are nice folks.
