We are saving $275 per vehicle, per year by living in NH. We have 2 vehicles 6 and 11 years old. This comes out to around $550 saved. Our insurance is also dropping from $1100 to $450 per year for 2 drivers, 2 vehicles. So that is another $650 in savings. Altogether we're saving $1200 per year or $100/month. That is a lot of $ to be saving for simply owning a car in another state.

Make sure your uninsured and underinsured auto coverage is good. Many drivers do not carry insurance because it is not required. The state of NH does nothing when you are hit by an uninsured driver, you will be on your own.
