If you're looking for inexpensive, then DIY the drywall. You'll come out with similar results.

If you find a cheap contractor in NH, you will also find a shitty contractor in NH. I am remodeling my whole house, and after having several contractors out giving some quotes and doing some work, I decided to do everything myself.

You would be better off hanging your own drywall then hire someone to mudd and tape. If its just you hanging drywall then look to hire someone or two people to help.

damn that’s rough. I like your solution! We’re doing most things ourselves but there’s a lot so if we don’t have helpers, it’d take a while.

Same here, I did hire a roofer, painter (exterior), and driveway contractors because both of those are a pain to do alone if you have a full time job. I am doing all siding/trim repair, building my porch, new doors, windows, all interior work etc. myself. I had some experience and plenty of mechanical ability before this past year, but just dove right in recently and realized most work is not that hard, just a takes time to do alone.

Idk if they go to new Boston but I used Hadden Fine Carpentry in Barrington for a drywall project once and they did a great job. Best drywall in my house.
I can't remember the cost but they were honest with their quote and broke it all down for me in an itemized list at the end.
It wasn't the cheapest quote I got and it wasn't the most expensive.

Yep, I've done some. A combination of helping out my Dad on an addition, then working off punishment for someone, and then as a teenage job. Not level enough on that seem-get back to work :(.
but, if the OP wants cheap drywall done, it is self intuitive enough for the random person to knock out OKish
