Yup to both, but none of the dates for either line up with my memory.

I thought it was the winter x games and Sean White was there but the list on Wikipedia doesn't match up. Maybe it was my friend over-exaggerating or me misremembering the actual event. There was definitely a huge halfpipe and a big air event.

I was like 16-17 (I'm 33 now) so it was like 2006?

I remember we printed mapquest directions and it didn't account for road closures and we got my friend's car stuck in a closed-for-the-winter pass and had to dig / push him out lol.

Closest I've seen is they nicknamed them after some dude who ran the sprinkle machine lol

But at the end of the day, I don't give a shit what people call sprinkles and I can get how people could take it the wrong way (especially today).

I can get why people could roll their eyes, but it's a weird hill to die on.

Everyone thinks they'll be fine until they aren't.

We had a highschool girl die at Gunstock in NH this year and Gunstock is a casual family / you can just straight-line most trails type mountain.

When I was a teenager I went to Stowe or Snow (can't remember, its been like 18 years) to see a winter xgames type event and someone in the big air event popped his bindings off the jump and landed HARD.

Just laid there, no moving. Ambulance came, took him away. Dunno what happened.

This may help, too:

https://old.reddit.com/r/ManchesterNH/comments/grypup/what_is_considered_the_ghetto_in_manchester/

Manchester is kid gloves for people used to real cities, but there's some areas ("the tree streets") that generally have the majority of the crime.

There's nowhere I feel uncomfortable walking in Manchester, really outside of places that would be sketchy anywhere alone at night.

I would strongly suggest you avoid meeting people through reddit at your age.

I remember being 13 and I know you'll do what you want but seriously its best just to meet people through school and the like.

If someone online is interested in meeting a 13 year old girl, they are not someone who should be around a 13 year old girl.
