A lot of of our highways and roads used to be concrete. They never actually removed the concrete they just paved over it.

Oh yeah? Back in my day, all highways were solid granite blocks 15 feet long and 5 feet deep. what now

Oh please... back in my day, we had cobble stones. Some of it you can still see in areas marked as historic.
