People of NJ your cars have sun-visors, use them!

There are sections of 78 east between exits 15 and 33 that will come to a complete stop because of the sun beaming into the windshield this time of year. Drivers please clear out whatever junk you have between the Visor and Headliner of your car before you leave.

When the sun is in your eyes use the sun-visor to block it.

Additionally, if the sun causes your windshield to glow like a lampshade, your windshield is dirty and needs to be cleaned.

That will only help so much. The sun doesn't just jump the distance between the shade and below the dashboard. People aren't that stupid.

I have not only been stuck in the traffic caused by this behavior but I have witnessed the cause first hand, driving along in the right hand lane and all of a sudden I notice the car next to me in the middle lane coming to a complete stop with nothing in front of them on multiple days. One time this orange Subaru really pissed off a trucker....
