I love winter, but I value the relationships I have in NJ too much to move.

There are also many reasons not to live in the south aside from the weather, which is way too hot in the summer. NJ is getting too hot in the summer, I hate waking up at 5:00 a.m. to run.

That’s my problem also. Everything I know is here. I have to decide whether I want to put distance between myself and those relationships to experience the winters I want, or to stay here and slowly accept the fact that any high temperatures below 50 degrees are going to be extremely rare from here on out. Neither of those is a pleasant scenario.

I don’t understand how people are celebrating this. I hope they like getting ravaged by mosquitoes as early as March, because that is what happens here now.

Right? I want our true seasons back. I tight with this frigid snap we just had that it was going to be the start of a beautiful Winter. Hopefully it still is but now it’s foggy and warm. Too many folks in Jersey are happily cheering on the warmth this time of year. It’s not okay.
