Again, completely unsurprising and in line with the constitution. It’s just a matter of time before the rest is struck down. Afterwards, the politicians who pushed this need to be held accountable for the blatant violation of our rights and utter waste of taxpayer money.

Sorry, I hope they keep trying.

Why? You support acting in blatantly unconstitutional manners?
MattShotts t1_j6mxl5i wrote
I don’t think the constitution is as clear cut on this matter as you or other 2A supporters make it out to be (that contextual phrase about a ‘well-regulated milita’).

Sorry, but this was annoying showboating by Murphy and the Dems. They knew it would be knocked down. It was like the right wing nuts in the House repealing Obamacare 500 times.
Our laws are strict, and I'm fine with that. Making them egregious is not helpful.

No, we're just going back to how it was before this law, which is barely any guns anywhere to begin with. It's not like we're completely getting rid of any restrictions

It’s pretty clear when it says shall no be infringed. Stop trying to take our rights away.
MattShotts t1_j6olx6q wrote
The context in which it shall not be infringed matters.
Stop trying to take people’s lives away by continuing to normalize weapons.

The term "well regulated" refers to keeping your equipment in good working order.
