Sorry, but this was annoying showboating by Murphy and the Dems. They knew it would be knocked down. It was like the right wing nuts in the House repealing Obamacare 500 times.
Our laws are strict, and I'm fine with that. Making them egregious is not helpful.

Christie is garbage and I still laugh that I've sold more books than he has, even though I never got to be on the Colbert Report.

When I lived in Montclair, I was constantly peeling Patriot Front slaptags off the backs of street signs. Essex County has a Nazi problem.

Depending on where you are, the food quality can vary, but there's almost always SOMETHING excellent nearby.
I'm gonna go with the sentiment of u/thebongofamandabynes and say, varied activities within easy reach. I went to a drag brunch at a tex-mex cantina, hiked, and went to an outdoor gun club on Sunday, all within 20 minutes of home.

We should push for this on a state, county, and municipal level. I don't visit mine as often as I should.

MyChart is the patient portal for Epic Software, a health care records EMR package for hospitals. It's not just used by Hackensack-Meridian, but by the majority of healthcare providers in the U.S. I used to administer the software for another hospital system. I use MyChart personally, it's convenient and Epic doesn't own your data, or even manage it, the provider does.

Whether you use MyChart or not, if you use that provider, your data is in their EMR system. PHI (patient health information) is highly protected by protocols and we had to pass training about possible infractions every year to remain employed.

It’s true. The Port Authority police used to give all the OT to the cops getting ready for retirement, so their salary was $250k and the pension matched it, so we pay them $250k while they work security for a school for 20 years and get another pension.

I have many dozens. Supposedly this has saved over a billion disposable bags from being trashed already, so my garage stash is fine. I use them for everything. I take my boots off in one of the big ones when I come home from hiking so I don’t get sugar sand all over the breezeway. They are good for organization and storage. I wear them as hats. I give them names. I am wearing Fred today. Say hi, Fred.

This needs to be done across the state, but who’s going to employ all the politicians’ cousins put out of work by it? Christie got elected on it, then gave up immediately. I’d also say racism is a factor, the little white enclaves are never going to go in. However sometimes it happens, like in South Jersey, there’s Gloucester Township which includes Laurel Springs (94% white) and Clementon (69%) and I don’t hear towns trying to secede. 541 municipalities. Brian Donohue of News 12 did a good piece on it. Like the town of Hi-Nella, which is run from a trailer by two or three people.

Please take the defensive driving course, maybe they'll help you realize that "mentally distracted" driving could have killed someone here. Be happy you hit a car and apparently hurt no one. If it was a motorcycle, bicyclist, or pedestrian, what then? Slow down and pay attention.

Well it's for Revolutionary War sites and the Batsto connection has always been tenuous, and the park looks like it's doing just fine, I was there on Saturday. There are other taverns from the era but they are in good shape. Except maybe Potter's Tavern, that's not open. I think it's privately owned.
