There should be a federal law that any officer found guilty of a crime gets a 2X sentence for betraying their oath.

I mean there need to be a lot of federal laws to correct policing, but I really like that idea.

We can say, “there should be a law,” all we want, but the fact is that the politicians that make the laws, the judges that interpret the laws, and the prosecutors that decide when to bring charges will never allow that because they all rely on cops to violently enforce their authority.

They are all part of the same criminal gang. The only way they will face consequences or accountability is when the citizens force it on them.

Even if the length of time isn't increased for them, the time they do will be 10x harder. The dudes are white prison guards in jail for beating up a black prisoner. They are not going to have fun.

Movies have fooled you. Cops, guards, etc. either end up in PC(protective custody) or at a minimum security camp which are an order of magnitude safer(and nicer) than the vast majority of prisons.
