Am I the only person whose bacon produces grease? I tried both the microwave and oven methods and they're swimming in grease, even with paper towels. I tried grilling bacon wrapped jalapenos and the grease kept starting fires, so I had to stop. I tried to cook them in an oven and the grease just coated everything. I can't figure out how you people all seem to have greaseless bacon.

I work at a financial institution and have come across a number of these victims over the years. I don't think I've ever had one that believed me when I told her she is clearly being scammed. Some will feign concern, but you can absolutely hear it in their voice that they're not going to stop sending money. No matter how much you try to convince them it's a scam, they refuse to believe it. I've even had some call with their family on the line with them begging me to convince their parent that the whole thing was a scam, but still no luck in the end.

That first one, 1% on HBO, is interesting. It's from the same year Sons of Anarchy premiered and the shows look very similar with a bunch of actors that would later appear on Sons. I wonder which show inspired the other? Just browsing through it I can see why they dropped it. seems like just 3 or 4 scenes of the bikers sitting around eating in various places. Also Sons definitely had better casting for the main crew. These guys just look too much like actors playing a part. Kurt was smart to hire a few real bikers to fill out his cast.

Also no "Open" pilot which is a major bummer. Who the fuck casts Anna Torv on a raunchy artsy HBO show about Sex and Lesbians and then cancels it before airing the pilot!?!

I kinda have hope since Bezos is a big fan, Bezos has God money, a television production studio, and a platform to air it. The ending felt very open ended. I can't imagine they'd waste so much of the last season building up what was going on with Laconia if they didn't expect they'd be able to finish that storyline one day. It felt more like the ending of a movie with the potential for sequels than the ending of a TV Show.

I will say that I expect a TV Movie or maybe a miniseries instead of just a new season or two.

Quantum Leap is one of my absolute favorites, but yeah I only got 10 mins in to Ep1. Spending all the time with Sam and all the mundane everyday stuff in the lives of the people he leaped into was what gave the series heart. Splitting time between characters and time periods makes it a whole different thing.
