TLDR: a two man plane needed to make an emergency landing on US-95 and were clipped by a Nissan. The two pilots and the driver all went to the hospital. No major injuries.

The Nissan driver was probably confused or not paying attention. Luckily no serious injuries.

I was trying to figure out where the hell that was on I95, and now it makes a lot more sense it's not the Interstate 95 on the east coast its the intrastate road US95 in Nevada

Edit: I have been corrected, evidently US95 just predates our interstate system so there are two inter state highways that are numbered 95 on opposite sides of the country

Interstate is a proper noun, referring to the Interstate Highway System: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interstate_Highway_System
Those highway numbers start with I, such as I-95. US-95 is a different numbering scheme, for a different set of highways, mostly constructed earlier.

You should stop trying to use interstate and intrastate as adjectives, you're only confusing yourself further!

I-95 is 2000 miles long, I have no fucking idea where Kyle canyon road is, how about you tell me where this happened in the title?

  1. The title states US highway 95. Not Interstate freeway 95.

  2. If you read the rules of the subreddit, your post must use the same exact title as the article you’re posting.

  3. If you simply click the link, the literal first two words of the article are “LAS VEGAS”
