Is it only an urban legend, that New York visitors to Florida took baby gators home as vacation souvenirs and, after the novelty wore off, flushed them down toilets, leading to a population in the city's sewers of hungry gators that feasted on homeless refugees? One close to me worked underground there but never mentioned gators. Hmmm...
