This sounds like an honest business operating inside a casino.

I ‘bet’ the casino sets this up as an official in house service.

I think they'd need federal law to change first because it sounds a lot like interstate gambling.

It’s all good until you hit the jackpot, they get the winnings and you have to pay the taxes.

I don't see this as any different than grubhub delivering food for a fee.

Why can't I ever think of cool stuff like this?

When I was about 7 I got 'arrested' at the airport for taking baggage carts back for people in the carpark. They cost $1 to rent and gave back 25c when you returned them. I was selling them for 50c. I was just waiting for a flight with my family and bored.

When I was 7, I had these weird pencils my mom got me bc they were cheaper than normal pencils. They weren't completely wood, sort of plasticky and when you sharpened them, instead of wood shavings and flakes, it would form a spiral that looked like flowers, sort of rose like.

I sold those flower shavings to my fellow classmates. Then I'd buy ice cream at lunch. That was a good week.

This is what came to mind, and is also imo the real issue.

Charging people what theyll pay is good practice until youre dealing with enabling addicts.

And I thought that people hosting gambling games in RuneScape with house odds of 55 x2 was absurd house odds, but this is ridiculous. It shows just how badly people understand odds, of course the slot machine exists to take money and then taking 1/4th of their money on top that. It must be kids spending their parents money on 'adult' things, I don't have any other way to make sense of it.

Have you ever been to a casino and see the slots zombies? All hours of the day they will just be glued to those screens and bells. I imagine people with that level of addiction would get the same thrill doing it “live” with someone on the other end. So I’d wager the majority of their subscribers 65 year old spinsters than kids spending parents money

These streams are against the TikTok TOS, but they don't take them down because they're some of the most successful and generate a ton of gifting revenue.
