Dogs are not allowed in the grassy knoll part of the park, Fiorella, and you should obey the signs posted that state exactly that.
Not excusing the fact that her dog inadvertainly got ripped to the teats, but keep your dog on the walkways and in the dog park and it won't get high.

Lol the dog park is literally right next to it, and the knoll area is fine to sit on. There’s a homeless corner of the park on the 7th and A side but everywhere else is fine.

I've seen needles in the grassy knoll, and while I don't think it's a major problem, I do think everyone should use caution and carefully examine the area they sit in. That's just a general rule for sitting anywhere in NYC.

Yea I think that’s a good rule of thumb anywhere. Thanks for the warning though I always examine where I sit but I’ll be extra careful moving forward
