Lol the dog park is literally right next to it, and the knoll area is fine to sit on. There’s a homeless corner of the park on the 7th and A side but everywhere else is fine.

I've seen needles in the grassy knoll, and while I don't think it's a major problem, I do think everyone should use caution and carefully examine the area they sit in. That's just a general rule for sitting anywhere in NYC.

Yea I think that’s a good rule of thumb anywhere. Thanks for the warning though I always examine where I sit but I’ll be extra careful moving forward
