Depending on the age of your child, OP, they also have an early childhood jazz education program called WeBop.

Their holiday concerts are very family-friendly as well.

Maybe you can find a jazz brunch and take her to it. Or a hotel lobby that has a jazz band playing.

You can also check out the Sony Music Hall. They hosted a bunch of stuff during Jazz Month, not sure if they have other events throughout the year though since I mainly went for Big Bad Voodoo Daddy.

Flushing town hall has tons of jazz events and performances as does the Louis Armstrong house in Corona.
