Yeah, it sucks. Frankly, I'd be more than happy for some of my income tax to pay for UNLIMITED MTA usage. All of New York, fuck it. You live here, you pay taxes, you get to reap the benefits of public transit.

Fleece the tourists, make a single ride $4. Put my state/city taxes towards a thing I actually use instead of giving cops more remote controlled cars or lazer binoculars or some other bullshit.
