Hi, my newborn has a life threatening illness (congenital heart defect). I'm having several medical expenses using a combination of spouse health insurance and my HSA.
I'm trying to prepare for next Tax season.
What should I know and what can I do to save as much as I can?
Thanks in advance

You can deduct unreimbursed medical expenses in excess of 7.5% of AGI if you itemize your taxes (so you can't double dip with an HSA)
