Paid $400 round trip for 2 people in 2021 . Best trip ever no regrets

I paided 400$ for the 6 roundtrips I did all over the NE from NYC during 20-21 yr. Amtrak priced a lot of its routes very low during covid so im not sure how you paided 400 for a roundtrip for 2 ppl on a corridor service.
