Your be surprised. My neighbors at temple were from Mayfair and bridesburg. You have no idea how many twisted tea cans I cleaned out of my backyard

ah man, it's the twisted teas that gives them away. I guess Temple is the furthest "into the city" the NE folks will go. Most of my family is in the NE and when you so much as mention dinner in the city, they act like you suggested Manhattan

I grew up in North / Northeast Philly and now live in Delco. some parts of Delco makes me feel like I never actually left Northeast Philly

not surprising honestly. i don’t think many people living in philly with young kids put them through school, high school, and college there. probably way more teens young twenties in immediate suburbs than city and a lot commute to city for big events
