Need bollards

You know....
for as much as people HATE potholes for fucking up our cars, maybe this is exactly what needs to be placed there. Strategically placed holes that are of a certain size so that if cars try to run through, their tires fall in and they get stuck

Not a bad idea at all. Hard to steal or vandalize a hole.

Couple bags of quikrete will show em

I mean if we just extrapolate that to the actual potholes...

Ridge avenue south bound just past Girard Ave has s literal trench across the lane. It is the best traffic calming I've seen and cost the city nothing.

I would actually advocate for a concrete barrier the entire way. The danger to pedestrians is real especially given how fast people drive on that road.

Well installed bollards should stop a 50 mph car and are a lot less ugly than a concrete
Wall IMO.
Concrete barrier is safer for cars because hitting a bollard at speed will fuck you up.

Fair enough. Bollards with a chain would look pretty nice there. Good call.

They’ll just get graffitied up and maybe stolen for scrap hahah

If someone manages to put the time and effort into actually removing an in-ground structural bollard, they've earned that bollard

How do you graffiti a cable?
