Maybe I overestimated how often I checked, it was like twice, honestly. And I have a healthy respect for the app, I have seen those studies, and it doesn't impact me nearly as much as I am told it should. 99% of the time the things that posted are so far away as to be meaningless to me, and the rest of the time its funny shit like someone was seen with a rake or something like that. There have been instances where I have heard gunshots nearby and checked the app for the express purpose of chatting with other people about it and to get more info if and when it becomes available. I'm not burying my face in the app and hyperventilating about every single push notification.
