I was in college in 2008, when the Phillies won the World Series. My school had watch parties for it. Maybe check your student union or ask around if yours is doing anything similar.

Also, the WS games will all be on Fox; so if you have a tv and antenna, you don’t necessarily need a cable package if you can get Fox (channel 29) to come through.

Pick a bar, any bar. If you can find a place with a tv that isn’t showing it, that would be astonishing.

Gojo on Baltimore Ave has TVs in the dining area and bar. As long as you are ordering food I assume they would be fine with you posting up. In fact I bet most restaurants in the area with TVs will be similar.

I bet there will be tons of bar & grill locations in Philly that won't require an ID but will still be great places to watch the Series.

Edit: to be clear I’m not saying “sneak in somewhere that won’t card you,” I’m saying go to a place where the game will be on that isn’t just a bar

You could try The Post or City Tap House.

Old City Beer Garden is my go-to spot. You can just go and hang out, since they don't ID at the door.

i was a freshman at drexel when they went to the world series in 2009 so i may be remembering incorrectly but i’m pretty sure savas has tv’s…i haven’t been there in years though. i know we all watched the flyers playoff run in 2010 in the common area at our dorm

When the games are at home go down to the stadium and hang at the massive tailgate parties in the parking lots. It is a very good time.

Other then that find a watch party on campus when they are away in Houston.
